2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies
- 2.1. Cookies are small text files that a website saves on Your browser or device. They let the website recognise Your device and remember information, such as whether You are logged in or Your language choice.
- 2.2. We also use technologies that work in a similar way. In this Policy, the word “cookies” covers all of them:
- Local storage and session storage, which store information in Your browser;
- Pixels and web beacons, which are tiny images or code that tell Us when a page or email has been viewed;
- Software development kits (SDKs) in the Signalz app, which collect technical and usage data for features such as notifications, crash reporting and analytics;
- Device identifiers, such as push notification tokens and, only with Your consent, mobile advertising identifiers;
- Device fingerprinting and Content identifiers, which combine technical signals and add user specific watermarks to protect Paid Content and detect fraud, scraping and Account sharing;
- Tracking parameters in links, such as campaign codes and deep links, which tell Us which message or campaign brought You to the Platform.
3. First Party and Third Party Cookies
- 3.1. First party cookies are set by Signalz on the Platform.
- 3.2. Third party cookies are set by Our service providers on the Platform, for example for analytics, crash reporting, embedded videos or measuring Signalz's own campaigns. These providers act on Our behalf under contracts, but some may also process data under their own privacy policies. We do not allow any third party to set cookies on the Platform to serve their own advertisements.
4. Session and Persistent Cookies
- 4.1. Session cookies last only while Your browser or app session is open and are deleted when You close it.
